The Tao of the Ocean emerge from my searching for an affinity of essence with water (softness, fluidity, fullness, dissolution). By nurturing this affinity, I cultivate wonder, awareness, and exploration/introspection.
I strive to establish a dialogue between myself, my body and nature, based on listening rather than on control or power.
The pleasure I feel when I freedive, and in my freediver life, inspires me to live more intensely, and to focus on the quality of what I live.
And encompassing these aspects, I am profoundly nourished by sharing the discoveries of these experiences: all that relates to our relationship with our body, to our ability to let go, sometimes to the water, and obviously to the feeling of connection that breathing can bring us to...
All in all, by inviting everyone to discover what these explorations can awaken deep within oneself.
In 2013, I made the choice to change my life path and dedicate myself to high-level freediving.
Over seven years I threw myself intensely into this competitive approach. I relished the internal exploration it sparked, and appreciated the external recognition that resulted (three French champion titles and a bronze medal at the World Championships, among other achievements).
Alongside, I became a freediving instructor and began to search for what I could share from my discoveries and how I could guide other freedivers – whether they are beginners, intermediate, or national team athletes, and whether they practise in the sea or in a pool.
Realising that the benefits of breathing practices and introspection experienced through my freediving practice could benefit a wider audience than just freedivers, I developed techniques for awareness, control and improvement of breathing, combined with diaphragm and rib cage mobilisations.
These techniques are a support for exploring what happens in the space between two breaths, the way we react in unfamiliar situations (inner dialogue, resistance, etc.), our ability to not-do, and how to use our empathy to help others ‘surpass’ themselves.
